# 4.17 Media age filter

If you would like to only check recent media articles in case searches, a setting is now added to Pascal to set a time range you would like to search in media for possible hits on your cases.

How to change this setting:

1. Go to the **Settings** page
2. Select the **Policies** tab
3. Scroll down to the **Filtering** section in the page
4. At the bottom of this section, the dropdown **Media age filter** can be used to only search on recent media articles. The filter has the options from: only consider the last year to only consider the last 10 years and every year in between.
5. After changing this setting, select the **Save** button to save the changes you have made.
