7.3 New Auditor role
In Pascal 7.3, we introduce the Auditor role as a new user role in Pascal. A secure way to gain a clear understanding of ongoing work while maintaining data integrity.
This role enables the user to view all cases in an organisation regardless of the Case access Read rights setting, while preventing any modifications to them. If the Case access is set to organisation, auditors will be able to edit the cases.
When a case is assigned to an auditor or their group, view-only restrictions are also bypassed, allowing full editing access to that case. Once the case is unassigned from the auditor, view-only access is reinstated.
The auditor role type can be granted via Pascal’s settings, by an Owner or Admin users only.
How It Works

- Head to the Users card, and click on the Pen icon under the Actions column of the user.
