# 8.1 Additional client filters

Pascal 8.1 introduces additional filters to help you find clients based on their profile information. You can use these filters on the **Clients overview** and within **Client filters** on the **Cases** page.

 

### How It Works

#### 1. Select the client information you want to filter by

The following filters are now available:

- **Person age**: filter by minimum and maximum age, based on the date of birth.
- **Business age**: filter by minimum and maximum age, based on the incorporation date.
- **Country**: select one or more countries.
- **Nationality**: select one or more nationalities.
- **SIC code**: filter by industry classification codes.
- **Profession**: filter by profession using a text field.
- **Risk indicators**: filter by selected risk indicators.

#### 2. Combine filters to narrow your results

Use the new filters together with existing filters to find a specific group of clients. For example, combine **Country** with **Risk** to focus on clients in a selected country with a particular client risk.

On the **Cases** page, use these options within **Client** filters to narrow down cases using information about their linked clients.

#### 3. Use the updated Risk filter

The **Overall Client risk** filter is now called **Risk**. The separate **Screening risk** filter has been removed.

 

### How It’s Beneficial

- **More focused searches**: find clients using specific profile information, such as age, nationality, profession or industry.
- **Less manual checking**: combine filters to identify relevant clients without opening each profile individually.
- **Client context when reviewing cases**: use linked client information to narrow down the cases you need to work on.
