What roles are available in Pascal?
Pascal includes four main roles: Owner, Admin, Team Manager, and Billing Manager. Owners and Admins can manage Users, Policies, and Settings. Only Owners can assign roles and make changes the Billing page. Team Managers can view team statistics on the Statistics pages, while Billing Managers only manage changes on the Billing page. Admins can alter settings of the environment. Users can hold multiple roles at once or none at all, in which case they are regular end users.
How do I manage user permissions in Pascal?
Users with the role Admin or Owner can invite new users. Owners can assign one or more roles such as Admin, Owner, Team Manager, or Billing Manager. Users without roles function as regular end users. Role assignments can be updated or removed at any time by an Owner in the Users page.
Is there an audit trail for admin actions?
Yes, the audit trail of the organisation records key changes such as user invitations, deletion of users or cases in bulk and policy or setting changes. This audit can be found and downloaded on the Profile page of the Organisation settings of Pascal.
How do I import cases into Pascal?
Users with the role Admin or Owner can import cases in Pascal by navigating to the Screening section and then the Import cases page. Here, you can import a file, review the information and import it into the system.
What fields are required in a case import file?
The required fields of an import file are Name, Type, Confidence. It is recommended to supply the Country or Nationality and as much information as available to improve the matching process Pascal performs during screening.
How do I adjust the match sensitivity for screenings?
In the Screening section of Pascal's settings, the confidence threshold can be set on the Confidence page. Here you can choose between three configured presets or set a custom configuration by selecting the Switch to Advanced Configuration option. Increasing the threshold results in fewer but more accurate matches, while lowering the threshold captures more potential matches with a broader range.
Can I exclude specific categories or sources from screening?
It is possible to exclude sources in Pascal when creating a case for a single deviation of the default. Or updating the default configuration. This can be found on the Workflow page of the Screening settings.
