[HubSpot](https://help.vartion.com/general?hsLang=en#hubspot) # Managing Pascal user access from HubSpot After the Pascal app is installed in your HubSpot environment, all users in your HubSpot environment can start viewing and using the **Screening overview** and **Screening resolvement** cards. When someone who does not yet have a Pascal account, opens a contact or company with a linked case or creates a case for that record, an account will automatically be created in Pascal for this person. Users can open the Pascal case directly from the Pascal cards in HubSpot. Via these HubSpot links they will have direct access to the linked Pascal case of the record. Newly created users do not yet have a password. To log in to Pascal directly, they must first set a password. This can be done with the below steps: 1. Press the **Forgot password?** button on the login screen of Pascal. 2. Enter your email address and select the **Reset** button. 3. An email will be sent to your email address. 4. From this email, you can activate your account by setting a new password.   ### Disable automatic user creation By default the Pascal app setting **Automatic user sync** is turned on. If preferred, this setting can be turned off. Allowing you to control which users are able to navigate to Pascal and view case details. Only users which are manually added on the page **Users & groups** in Pascal, will be able to go to Pascal. To navigate to this setting: 1. Press the settings gear in the top bar. 2. Under Integrations, click on Connected Apps. 3. In the list of Connected Apps, click on **Pascal**. 4. Click on the Settings tab. 5. Turn the setting **Automatic user sync** off in the **Integration Settings** section.   **This documentation, including images, videos and text, is accurate as of Version 6.10 of Pascal.** We strive to keep our documentation up to date with each release to ensure it remains a reliable resource for our users.
