How to automate risk-based screening

Monitored cases can be created or their status can be updated when company or contact records deals are closed. With specific properties their risk can be determined, with setting up branch configurations different monitoring frequencies can be chosen based on the riskiness of the contacts or companies.

To set up this workflow, the following can be configured:

  • Trigger:
    • When property value changes: Is closed won has the value True, for associated deals to the contact.

  • Branch:
    • Branch based on filter criteria: Low risk branch when Country/Region is equal to any country you deem as low risk. High risk branch when Country/Region is equal to any country you deem as high risk.
  • Actions:
    • Create case: Create a case with the case status Monitored. The options DailyWeeklyMonthlyQuarterlyHalf yearly and Yearly are available. Assign a higher frequency to the high risk branch and a lower frequency to the low risk branch. The None met branch can be used as a failsafe if records would adhere to neither branches.

To set up this workflow for both contacts and companies with linked cases where new hits are found. Two workflows must be created, one based on contact records and another based on company records.
