How to customise external emails
During the onboarding of a client, emails are send to the external team for inquiries, updates and more. These emails can be customised to reflect your company's tone and branding.
To modify the default emails, follow the below steps:
- Click on your initials in the top right corner.
- Select Settings in the new menu.
- Navigate to the External configuration page in the Onboarding section and scroll down to the Email templates card.
- Here, you see all emails that might be sent to the external team, including the option to edit them.
- Press the Edit button of a specific email.
- In the new sidepanel that opened, you can edit the Email title and Email content.
- Type within the text areas to alter the text.
- Remove dynamic content by pressing the cross next to a field.
- Add dynamic content by pressing the field in the Available fields section below the text area you are modifying. Fields that can only be added to the email once, will be greyed out if already present in the text area.
- Press the Save button to save your made changes.
If at any later point, you want to change the email back to the original template, follow the below steps:
- Click on your initials in the top right corner.
- Select Settings in the new menu.
- Navigate to the External configuration page in the Onboarding section and scroll down to the Email templates card.
- Here, you see all emails that might be sent to the external team, including the option to edit them.
- Press the Edit button of a specific email.
- In the new side panel that opened, press Reset to defaults at the bottom of the screen.
- Press the Save button to save the default template.
