How to delete a user account

It may be necessary to remove the account of a user. This can be done by an administration Owner or Admin.

  1. Click on your initials in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings in the new menu.
  3. Navigate to the Users & groups page in the Organisation section.
  4. Select the Delete icon in the Actions field of the specific user. If cases are assigned to this user, a popup will show up to ask what should happen to these cases:
    • Select Reassign to reassign these cases to another user, thereafter another user can be selected as the new assignee of these cases.
    • Select Delete to delete the cases currently assigned to this user, thereafter confirm that you indeed want to delete the cases.
  5. Select the Delete button to delete the user account.
 

The user’s account has now been deleted. This means they will no longer be able to perform any actions within a a current session. Additionally, once they log out, they will not be able to log in again. The user account is also moved to the deleted users section.

 

To view currently deleted user accounts:

  1. Click on your initials in the top right corner.
  2. Select Settings in the new menu.
  3. Navigate to the Users & groups page in the Organisation section.
  4. Select the Filter text in the top right corner of the Users card.
  5. Toggle on the Deleted option.
  6. The users table now shows only deleted users, with the option to permanently delete or restore their user accounts with the bin or restore icons in the Actions column.
